"Alles Anders" tells of major transitions in life: from kindergarten to school, from primary school to the next stage.
"Alles Anders" looks at the different ways of dealing with transitions. The starting point is experiences that almost every child from the age of five has had - the transition to kindergarten or primary school and, for 10-year-olds, the impending move to secondary school. These formative moments are remembered because they are accompanied by profound changes. Death also comes up, but not as a spectre, but as part of a journey that we all experience. Changes do not have to be frightening, instead they can be seen as new possibilities.
