The square becomes an open experience area: with dance performances, SingAlong and climate rickshaw tours organised by the VHS. In the theatre, festival visitors can look forward to DanceAlong, short performances, backstage tours, a costume shop and other hands-on activities for young and old.
As part of the Art:walk Festival, Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz in front of the Schauspielhaus will be transformed into a lively open-air stage full of dance, music and hands-on activities for all generations on the Day of the Stages. Visitors can expect a varied programme with hip-hop performances by the Tanz IMPULS Schule, the big SingAlong with ZOE and an experimental urban space performance "the city as score" by Daniela Georgieva and students from the Peter Behrens School of Arts Düsseldorf. In addition, the VHS invites you to rediscover Düsseldorf with the "Knowledge-to-go" tour in a bicycle rickshaw under the motto "On the trail of the climate in Düsseldorf". Around the Schauspielhaus, DanceAlong formats such as "Move it", short performances, guided tours behind the scenes, a costume shop and numerous other activities ensure a colourful festival afternoon in which the city itself becomes a stage.
