As a promoter and DJ associated with iconic venues such as WP8, CUBE, Salon des Amateurs and Golzheim Club, Sceneryxx has become one of the defining figures of Düsseldorf’s underground scene in recent years.
For over a decade now, he has been bringing international acts to our city with exceptional charm, long before they made their breakthrough. Legendary nights with Rare DM, Leona Jacewska aka Charlie, Maarten Gewitter, Timothy J. Fairplay, Madeline Goldstein, TWINS (ThatWhichIsNotSaid), INHALT (US), Novo Line and many more will remain forever etched in the memories of those of us who were there. Between 2016 and 2019, he was the main organiser of the Büdchentag spot at Dorotheenplatz and can still be found at Café Kausal to this day. If you see him there, he might buy you one of Babak’s delicious cakes. Joking aside, Sceneryxx is also known for his political stance, which is characterised by empathy and a zest for life.
