On 6 June, Impromix transforms the Hirschchen in Düsseldorf into an improvised film stage - entirely in English. Three genres, three films, but only one survives. The audience decides which film will continue.
The ensemble brings the lights and the stage, the audience brings itself, good ideas and a cold beer. What happens in between? Three films that are shot at the moment of their creation. Completely spontaneous, completely crazy.
Three stories, three films - but only one survives. Whether it's a zombie slasher with a slapstick interlude, a dark noir full of absurd twists and turns or a weird western parody: the films are performed on stage as if the camera were there. After each round, the audience decides which film will continue and which will end up in the editing room. Until the ultimate improvised film comedy is chosen at the end of the evening.
No rehearsed punchlines, no script, no safety net - just seven improv players from seven countries, an audience with good ideas and a cosy pub atmosphere in which laughter and beer go together wonderfully.
Tip: You can also dine at the Hirschchen - preferably in a cosy atmosphere before the show. Simply arrive in good time, secure a good seat and enjoy a quiet meal before the lights go out.
Please note: There are only 40 seats in the Hirschchen and Impromix shows tend to sell out quickly.
If you want to be there, you should get your ticket in good time.
