Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
The Studio 111 exhibition in the pool exhibition space shows diverse, individual works by artists with disabilities. The exhibition is complemented by sound performances by IMM students - open, accessible and collaborative.
With the Studio 111 exhibition, the pool exhibition space as part of the Art:walk Festival is opening up a view of artistic works that emerge from a special collaborative process. In Studio 111, people with disabilities are continuously guided towards independent artistic creation. The result is a variety of works that visualise individual forms of expression and bring together different perspectives. The exhibition is not intended as a closed presentation space, but as an openly accessible place of exchange. On the day of the stages, the works on display will be complemented by sound performances by IMM students, which will acoustically expand the space and add new levels of experience. Visual art and sound thus enter into a dialogue. The exhibition space is barrier-free. During the Art:walk festival, guides will be available on site to facilitate access. Short guided tours are offered on request on an ongoing basis and provide personal insights into the exhibition and its background. (Source: Art:walk Festival)
