This race day is not only marked in red on the calendar of equestrian sports fans. In addition to the classic, the 106th German 1000 Guineas, it is not only Düsseldorf's second most important race of the year with the second highest prize money of 125,000 euros.
An important preliminary test for the German Derby will also take place in Düsseldorf on this day: The MERKUR SPIELBANKEN Derby Trial (Listed race over 2,200 metres, with prize money of 30,000 euros).
The race day will also provide a Düsseldorf "Kö feeling" - sophisticated dresses, large hats and chic menswear will transform the racecourse into a catwalk for our fashion-conscious visitors. On this race day, the partners of IG Königsallee will provide an exclusive supporting programme around Düsseldorf's boulevard.
