On the occasion of Japan-Woche (Japan Week), UCI Düsseldorf in the Medienhafen is offering all Japan fans and film fans a broad programme of popular animes for a week from 21 May to get them in the mood for Japan-Tag (Japan Day).

Sophie falls in love with the wizard Hauro and is turned into an old woman by a witch. She sets out to find Hauro to reverse the spell. When she finds Hauru's home, the moving castle, she gets a job there as a cleaning lady. A fire demon who guards the house and Hauru's assistant Markl soon become her friends. But Hauru pays no attention to her and lives carefree and self-absorbed.
