Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
The event Mein Viertel - mein Blick shows personal perspectives on Düsseldorf's neighbourhoods. At D'haus Central, Düsseldorf residents share their views on their neighbourhood - an open format for encounters, diversity and exchange at Worringer Platz.
As part of the Art:walk festival, the Central will become a place for personal city stories. With this event, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus invites you to get to know Düsseldorf from different perspectives - direct, polyphonic and in the centre of public space. Düsseldorfers show their individual views of the neighbourhoods in which they live, work or feel connected. The contributions reveal how diverse the city is perceived and how identity is made up of different experiences. The format is intended as an open space for encounters and dialogue. Visitors come to listen, ask questions or tell others. For a moment, Central becomes a shared resonance space - open to anyone who wants to get to know other perspectives and broaden their own view.
