Good night, Harry!" takes you on a jazzy journey to Paris: you experience Heinrich Heine in exile, his love for Mathilde and the vibrant city life - literature meets music.
In this special edition of the "Good night, Harry!" series, you embark on a literary and musical journey through 19th century Paris - accompanied by the sounds of jazz and the texts of Heinrich Heine. You will experience how Heine perceives his exile in the French capital, how he meets his future wife Mathilde and the highs and lows that characterise their love story. You will also meet his contemporaries, experience his sharp, often ironic word duels and immerse yourself in the lively hustle and bustle of the Parisian boulevards and squares. Literature and music interweave to create an atmospheric evening that brings Heine's view of the "beautiful magical city" of Paris to life - sometimes poetically, sometimes critically, sometimes surprisingly close to the present.
