Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
Opera arias with piano accompaniment, a plucked string orchestra (not only) for string beginners, "Easier danced than said" and an audience choir: a varied programme is offered on the stage of the Rangfoyer (limited seating capacity).
It is a very special place: As part of the Art:walk festival, the Rangfoyer of the Düsseldorf Opera House is the centre of the action on Heinrich-Heine-Allee. Between 1.30 p.m. and 4 p.m., a varied programme with different events lasting around twenty minutes will be offered here. The programme starts at 1.30 p.m. with a short concert featuring singing and piano. Afterwards, the Ballett am Rhein will present "Leichter getanzt als gesagt - short version" (14.00). At 2.30 pm, it's "Clear the stage for string beginners": the JugendZupfOrchester NRW will skilfully play the double bass, guitars and mandolins, but will also bring plenty of string knowledge with them. Afterwards, people of all ages are invited to the Ballett am Rhein's "Open Class" in the cloakroom foyer (2.50 pm). As the crowning finale, the choirmaster of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Albert Horne, will form a veritable, powerful-voiced opera choir from the audience in the opera house (3.30 pm).
