Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
The Pulp Fiction filmsetshow brings Tarantino's cult classic live to the Film Museum. Legendary scenes, iconic dialogue and 90s sounds are recreated as an interactive performance - with the audience as part of the action.
The Pulp Fiction filmset show transforms the Film Museum into a living film set as part of the Art:walk festival. Quentin Tarantino's cult film from 1994 will not simply be quoted, but restaged as an interactive performance - at the interface of educational format and live performance. In the studio on the 3rd floor, legendary scenes from the film are created in direct proximity to the audience. Iconic dialogues, striking characters and the unforgettable sounds of the 90s create a dense atmosphere in which film history becomes tangible. Instead of a classic screening, the process of creation takes centre stage: how do the text, music, movement and scene work together? A central element of the show is the active participation of the audience. In the tradition of this format, visitors take on their own roles and become part of the production themselves. Boundaries between stage and auditorium dissolve - the film is not only seen, but experienced. (Source: Art:walk Festival)
