Look forward to a brilliant finale to the Liedstadt weekend: Julian Prégardien, Valerie Eickhoff, Ricardo Marinello, Anna Gebhardt, Elenora Pertz and The Erlkings come together once again for a joint final evening and let the song shine in ever new constellations.
A programme of songs from the Baroque to the present day unfolds around Schumann's Liederkreis op. 39, full of surprising perspectives, special encounters and musical discoveries. An evening that makes the curiosity, the joy of playing and the community spirit of this weekend fully audible once again.
This event is part of the Liedstadt weekend, during which Düsseldorf will be completely dedicated to song from Friday evening to Sunday evening. Julian Prégardien and his inquisitive, enthusiastic collective of artists will take the songs to the people - in concert halls, churches, art spaces and on the streets of the city - and trace the many homes that lie hidden in the music and in ourselves.
