Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
Sound and movement fill Schloss Jägerhof: over 100 participants create a lively festival of music, dance and up-and-coming talent. Orchestral sounds, courtly dances to join in and family formats combine to create an open cultural experience.
Musicians from the Clara Schumann Music School bring a wide variety of instruments to life. The junior orchestra and the large orchestra of the Marie Curie Grammar School will each unfold their own musical worlds and demonstrate the diversity of young orchestral work. At the same time, the Gloria del Ballo dance studio invites you to watch historical dances as if you were at court. The dance is not just a performance, but consciously opens up space for movement, participation and playful discovery of historical forms. In the late evening, the Robert Schumann Hochschule sets special accents with songs based on romantic poems and an avant-garde sound installation. The programme ranges from traditional musical practice to contemporary sound experiments. The programme is accompanied by continuous hands-on formats for families, which provide a playful approach to the museum around Goethe. Sound & Dance in the Castle is an open festival in which music and movement permeate all rooms. Schloss Jägerhof itself becomes a sounding board - lively, diverse and characterised by encounters between generations, genres and art forms. (Source: Art:walk Festival)
