Renowned international tap artists unite on the big stage and celebrate the 29th gala as part of the Tap Ahead Festival!
Rich in rhythms, with the courage to improvise and guaranteed musical highlights, tanzhaus nrw presents "Tap at its best".
The festival artists make all varieties of contemporary tap dance visible and, together with the Roman Babik Trio, create a fascinating mosaic of contemporary tap dance art through improvisation, virtuoso rhythm games and unconventional connections.
T.A.P. - The Augmented Project will once again be part of this year's gala. This project group of Academy students, led by Daniel Luka, combines traditional rhythm tap with contemporary influences from music, theatre and performance. The performance links dance, video and digital art, thus extending tap dance into virtual space. (Source: tanzhaus nrw)
