Event as part of the Art:walk Festival
Listening and experimenting together: Weltkunstzimmer invites you to create collective sound spaces with upcycling instruments and electronics. Open improvisation meets curiosity and shared discovery.
The Weltkunstzimmer opens up an experimental sound space as part of the Art:walk festival. As the ensemble changes, sounds are explored and developed together - openly, spontaneously and without fixed guidelines. Upcycling instruments and small electronic devices are used to create electro-acoustic landscapes that are formed from the moment. The focus is on collective improvisation: sounds are shared, taken up and transformed. The focus is less on perfection and more on experiencing and listening together. The format is led by Louretta & Dr Schmitt, presented by the DIY Synth & Sound Art Festival. Unheard sees itself as an open space for anyone who is curious - whether they have musical experience or not. No previous knowledge is required, only the desire to try things out counts. In this way, music becomes the basis for a collective encounter in which listening, participation and discovery intertwine. (Source: Art:walk Festival)
