Café Kumo is all about Japanese baked goods - especially dorayaki. Dorayaki can best be compared to pancakes that are filled. Kumo means cloud and the dorayaki are just like that: fluffy and soft. In addition to the signature cake filled with red bean paste, there are alternating flavours such as blueberry. Matcha is also central to the treats: Dorayaki with lukewarm matcha mousse, Japanese matcha soft serve ice creamand the crowning glory: the matcha sundae with mochi balls, red bean paste, Oreo crumbles and a base of crispy rice crisps. There has been a second branch on Hunsrückenstraße since August 2025. You can only get caramel dorayaki in this branch.
