It is a place where the art and culture scene comes together - a kind of living room for everyone. The avant-garde music and cultural programme is known far beyond Düsseldorf. Founded in 2004 by art students, the Salon is now one of the city's most important musical flagships. Pianist Hauschka has his roots here and even named his 2011 album 'Salon Des Amateurs'.
