Where more than a hundred years ago trams rattled round the bend into the depot, today there is thunderous applause. With 1250 seats in the main auditorium and around 500 seats in the so-called club, there is enough room for big entertainment shows. Musicals, comedy and dance in particular keep the tills ringing at the Capitol, as do concerts. For eight years, the Capitol regularly welcomed Thomas Hermanns with the ‘Quatsch Comedy Club’.
