Located in a former streetcar depot, tanzhaus nrw is an international center for contemporary dance. With two stages and eight dance and rehearsal studios, the house is not only known for its top-class presentations of contemporary dance (internationally acclaimed choreographers and dance companies are regular guests), but also for its academy and its diverse dance courses and workshops. Whether hip hop, African dance, flamenco, salsa, ballet, jazz dance or tap dance - high culture and subculture are combined here.
